About these samples
- Can I download a sample puppy go home packet for free?
- Yes. The three packets on this page are complete PDFs, free to download, print and read with no account and no email address. They are made-up litters from made-up kennels, and they are the real output of the generator rather than pictures of it — the same files a breeder gets when they export their own litter.
- Are these editable templates I can type into?
- No, and that is the difference between this and a template. These are finished documents, printed from a litter somebody entered. You do not fill these in — you enter your own litter in the editor, which is free, and it prints the same pages with your kennel, your dogs, your weights and your photographs on them. Nothing here is a fillable form.
- Why does one of the files have SAMPLE printed across every page?
- That is exactly what a free export looks like, shown rather than described. It is the same document as the clean one beside it — same pages, same words, same photographs — with a diagonal SAMPLE across each page. A litter pass at $29 takes it off for that litter and every puppy in it.
- Are the dogs, kennels and microchip numbers in these packets real?
- No. Every kennel, person, dog, registration number and microchip number in these files is invented for the demonstration, and the microchip numbers are deliberately plausible fakes that belong to no animal. The pedigree pages are headed "as recorded by the breeder" and carry no registry name or logo, because that is what the real page does.
- How many pages is a puppy go home packet?
- These three run to 11, 11, 12 pages for one puppy, from 10 sections. The length follows what you entered rather than a fixed template: a litter with four generations of pedigree, a long letter and eight weeks of weights prints more pages than one with three generations and no letter, and an optional section with nothing in it does not print at all.
